Manalo Restorations

Craftsmanship, one pair at a time.

A sneaker is more than its silhouette. It is the materials, proportions and small details that give it character. John Manalo’s work explores how those details can be preserved, repaired or thoughtfully reimagined.

The studio

Preserve the character. Consider every detail.

Manalo Restorations is John Manalo’s sneaker restoration and custom work studio. The work starts with a close look at each pair, its materials and the details that make it distinctive.

The portfolio brings together custom detailing, replacement elements and sole conversion projects. Each request begins with the pair itself: its condition, construction and the outcome you have in mind.

An honest conversation comes first. The right approach depends on the materials and their age, and not every pair can return to factory-new condition.

Before you send your pair

When should I send photos?

Submit your inquiry first. We’ll reply by email and ask for detailed photos of both shoes, the soles, and any damaged areas.

Can every pair be restored?

Results depend on the age, materials and condition of the sneakers. Vintage materials can deteriorate, and a factory-new result is not guaranteed. We assess the pair before confirming the work.

How should I ship my shoes?

Confirm shipping arrangements before sending your pair. Use secure packaging, tracking and appropriate insurance. See the service agreement for shipping responsibilities.

What about cost and turnaround?

Request a quote for the work you need. Confirm pricing and timing for your specific project before proceeding.
